Online Eco-fashion boutique Fashion Ethic and Ballard boutique Ella Mon have teamed up to produce a “Naturally Chic” Weekend of events in celebration of the first ever Fashion Ethic Pop-Up Shop at Ella Mon!
The Pop-Up shop opens Friday, June 26th and will have residence inside Ella Mon for an entire week. The shop will feature fashionably responsible apparel from eco-friendly and socially-conscious lines like EDUN, Naturevsfuture, Emily Katz, Ryann, Peligrosa Knits and Sublet, plus eco-friendly jewelry from Thinknow Designs.
The "Naturally Chic" Weekend will be full of in-store events at Ella Mon! Customers can learn how to make stylish and eco-friendly decisions when it comes to building their wardrobes and filling their cosmetic bags.
10% of the weekend’s sales will benefit the Junior League of Seattle. Additional “surprise” discounts will be taken at the register. Come celebrate Eco-friendly fashion with Candice Caldwell from Fashion Ethic while you browse through Ella Mon’s fabulous assortment of women’s fashion!

Saturday, June 27th - Ella Mon and Fashion Ethic will be treating guests to low-cost chair massages and paraffin hand waxes while showcasing the Malie Organics Natural Body Line. Expect morning mimosas and afternoon wine and cheese!
Sunday, June 28th - Come take part in a “High Tea Hat Party” with cupcakes from Cupcake Royale, tea from Miro Tea and hats from deVunono.

For three years in a row Seattle style guru Eric Davis has been working with DIFFA (Design Industries Fighting Aids) to produce fashion shows that help raise funds for direct care of people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk. Tonight Eric Davis will do it again at the 4th Annual Out of he Closet Fashion Event at the W Hotel. Come out and support the cause and view fashion trends from local boutiques including The Finerie, Marqsmen and Veridis.

After a successful first annual show, Seattle’s Product Runway is back for part two. Created by the Interior Design Coalition of Washington (IDCW), Product Runway is designed to celebrate the distinct talent of Seattle’s Interior Design community, composed of industry professionals and students. Teams will construct couture garments crafted from interior design materials using everything from carpeting to light fixtures. Pencil this fun (and fashionable) event into your calendar ASAP. Join the Seattle fashion community on June 18th at The Chapel on Capitol Hill for a Fashion Kills Hunger runway show to benefit Northwest Harvest. Fashion show participants include Horseshoe, Lizzie Parker, Original Penguin and The Industry. “We want to make a difference in our community by getting the fashion industry together and throwing an event for a great cause!” says Event Producer and co-owner of The Industry boutique, Angela Kantanto. Guests are asked to wear black to the event in an effort to show their commitment to killing hunger in Seattle. (What a fabulous excuse to break out your never-fail little black dress!)
